Being independent is sometimes birthed from an underlying situation, such as not having anyone else around to do for you except you. Or perhaps you’ve experienced one too many broken promistes. So rather than deal with repetitive disappointment, you strap that superman/woman ‘S’ on your chest and set out with a determination to tackle life Lone Ranger style. And when reliable help does present itself, unfortunately your only response time and again is ‘no thank you. I’ve got it.' Failing to even ask for or receive God’s help along the way. And as life goes on, there you are. Weighted down, stressed, depressed, frustrated. Both arms full and hurting from trying to carry the load all by yourself, while ignoring those whose hands are free, willing & wanting to help. Yeah, you’ve got it alright! But who are you really fooling? Just so you know, God never intended for His people to go through life having to do everything alone. Even if the whole world lets you down, know that He is still faithful and a very present help Who gives His children permission to cast all their cares upon Him because He cares for us. Talk about a burder bearer and a heavy load sharer! So Brothers & Sisters, instead of insisting on being a Lone Ranger, worn down from carrying all that you’ve been carrying alone, know that God is standing right there with open arms saying my child, let Me get that for you. Then in exhalation and relief, Let Him, with your only response be Thank You, Father!
Let Me Get That For You
